Launches Prince Sultan bin Salman's Education and Awareness Program
HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Board of Trustees at the KSCDR, welcomed Sir Michael Arthur, President of Boeing International, and members of his delegation, led by Engineer Ahmed Jazzar, President of Boeing Saudi Arabia, at KSCDR in Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter.
ِAt the start of the reception, HRH Prince Sultan welcomed Boeing President Sir Michael and members of the visiting delegation, expressing his gratitude for this visit. HRH stated after the launch of Prince Sultan bin Salman's Program for Education and Awareness that this program aims to spread awareness and educate the community, whether in educational institutions, workplaces, or public establishments, by providing specialized content on each category of disability and educating members of the community about the types of disability and its causes and how to deal with them and bridge the gap between individuals with disabilities and society. The program targets all individuals with disabilities, families, school peers, work colleagues, and spouses.
At the end of his speech, His Highness presented a commemorative gift on behalf of himself and the center's staff to the President of Boeing.
Sir Michael Arthur expressed his pleasure in seeing Boeing's partnership with KSCDR, which began in 2011, flourish by the launching of the Prince Sultan bin Salman Program for Education and Awareness for Individuals with Disabilities. Sir Michael affirms Boeing's commitment to Saudi Arabia's vision and the myriad of impactful programs the country is currently developing and implementing for a sustainable and bright future ahead. "What we are witnessing today is a great commitment by the Saudi leadership to raise awareness for disability research and education." Sir Michael continues, "This program will prove highly beneficial for the Saudi community, and we are proud to partner with KSCDR on such influential programs."
The visit documents the close partnership between Boeing and the KSCDR since 2011.
Boeing takes care and interest in the community's participation, activities, and events, recognizing the importance of social responsibility and its developmental role in society. Its belief that social responsibility is an integral part of our daily lives as Boeing is an active member of Saudi society.
