Rasha Khaled Al-Turki focuses her professional interests on contributing positively to the development of Saudi Arabia, particularly in social and economic progress. After many years of working in the third sector, she now volunteers with several non-profit and endowment boards, including Dhahran Ahliyya Schools Endowment and Al-Nahda Society. She also serves as a board member of Al-Turki Holding Company, where she chairs the Nominations and Remunerations Committee and the Ethics Committee.
During her tenure as Executive Director of Al-Nahda Society (2014-2021), Rasha established a research center and an advocacy unit, digitized all procedures, and built a detailed database. She secured consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and, in 2020, Al-Nahda was appointed by royal decree to lead the W20 group and related activities.
Before her role as Executive Director, she worked as the Director of Development Projects at Al-Nahda, overseeing the management, evaluation, and development of projects in financial, educational, and social development, as well as vocational training and employment.
In 2016, she was appointed by royal decree to the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, serving as a non-resident member for four years. Rasha holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Wellesley College and a Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University. She has also conducted extensive research on the history of women in entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia.
