
The King Salman International Award for Disability Research Committee held its first meeting of the fourth session, with the participation of committee members comprising experts and researchers in various fields of disability.
The meeting began with an introductory presentation on the Award, providing an overview of its objectives, research domains, and its global role in fostering distinguished scientific contributions in the field of disability research.
Professor Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Jughaiman, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Award Committee, delivered a speech highlighting the vital role of the committee in realizing the Award’s vision. He reviewed its responsibilities and organizational and scientific mechanisms, including the development of rigorous scientific standards for evaluating nominated works, and ensuring that all procedures are conducted with the highest levels of professionalism and impartiality.
