King Salman Center for Disability Research Signs Memorandum of Understanding with AlphaIota to Strengthen Collaboration in Data and Artificial Intelligence.
The King Salman Center for Disability Research is a specialized organization dedicated to supporting scientific research and studies in the field of disability, while AlphaIota provides specialized services and solutions in data, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies.
This memorandum stems from the mutual desire of both parties to develop business models for data management and processing that ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations, maximize the value of available data, and expand and enhance business and consulting activities in line with the objectives and mandates of both organizations.
The areas of cooperation also include the design, development, operation, and management of a specialized data and artificial intelligence platform. The platform will enable the utilization of available datasets, foster collaboration in related fields, and support the building, development, and training of AI models and algorithms on encrypted data within the Center’s environment, without transferring data outside its infrastructure.
The memorandum further includes the provision of consulting services, studies, and local and international benchmarking initiatives that contribute to the development of business models and the assessment of opportunities to leverage healthcare datasets. It also covers advisory services in data annotation and the evaluation of sector needs related to this field.
In addition, the cooperation encompasses the implementation of training programs and workshops, as well as the provision of specialized consultancy in artificial intelligence, data development, and the creation of models and algorithms. It also includes activities related to data structuring and architecture, supporting the achievement of the shared objectives of both parties.
This memorandum reflects the commitment of both sides to strengthening cooperation, exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest, and leveraging their respective capabilities to achieve the memorandum’s objectives and advance initiatives related to data and artificial intelligence.
